After speaking with the owner, He is working to make things right. Buying used cars is always a gamble, but he seems to be doing his best to remedy the problem I am having with my recently purchased Volvo.

I purchased a 2010 BMW X5 at the end of January. I did my research so I knew what all was potentials for issues with the model. According to the carfax I could see on the site for this vehicle and what I was told was fixed by them this particular one should not be giving me issues. Shortly after (like the next day) I got a check oil light and I stopped in and was told that they must not have topped it off. They did that and sent me on my way. Unfortunately I was semi desperate for a car and I went at the end of the day and was rushed on the test drive. I didn’t pay attention that they had the blower on the vents all the way up and I was also almost on E. Should have clued me in to something right there. But again I was desperate for a car and this appeared to be well taken care of physically and the paperwork appeared to say the same. Within a couple weeks the transmission slips started. No way that wasn’t known before. I checked the transmission fluid. It was BLACK. The coolant tank was bone dry. I just had to deal with that on my own as I work hellish hours. I’ve had multiple complete transmission fails pop up since. And I’ve had to refill the oil 3 more times. And it cracks underneath when you turn 50% of the time. This vehicle doesn’t even seem to match anything close to the carfax I was shown as far as how it runs!!! All I can do is pray I can get by with it until I find a better paying job to afford something else because I def can’t get something else now.So fair warning MAKE sure to TURN THE VENT BLOWER DOWN. Take a LONG test drive. Get a GOOD MECHANIC to check EVERYTHING!My car’s pretty but junk otherwise!
